Over 700 people attended a public talk given by Fr. Timothy Radcliffe in Killarney last night.
He talked about Christian living. The focus of the talk was being receptive to others in simple ways: through a smile, a touch and by listening. It was a public talk hosted by the Diocese of Kerry . The atmosphere was warm and friendly and the night ended with tea, coffee and biscuits.
Fr Timothy is a Friar of the Order of Preachers, also known as the Dominicans. He was Master of the Order from 1992 to 2001. Fr Timothy is a world renowned speaker and author of many books including: Sing a New Song. The Christian Vocation; I Call You Friends; Seven Last Words; What is the Point of Being a Christian?; Why Go to Church? The Drama of Eucharist.
