At this Mass, the Holy Oils for use in the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Ordination and Anointing of the Sick are blessed for the year ahead. Also, Bishop Ray and the priests will renew their commitment to priestly service. That renewal will speak of dedication to Christ; seeking to become more like Him; and imitating his service as Shepherd.
